International Communication

As the agency of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to promote the developments of organic agriculture, COFCC supports the overseas visit for communication in organic agriculture and organic product

2003

Join the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) and take the first step towards international exchange and cooperation.

2004-2005

COFCC has signed business cooperation agreements with institutions such as OMIC in Japan, SGS in Switzerland, and BCS in Germany, to facilitate the entry of Chinese organic agricultural products into the international market.

2006

Completed the research on the "China-EU Fund Project" titled "Capacity Building for Food and Quality Safety Assurance through the Integration of Organic Certification and HACCP", and successfully held an international seminar for the project.

Entrusted by the "China-EU World Trade Project", we organized an investigation on the development of organic agriculture in six provinces and cities in China, and completed the survey report titled "Organic Agriculture in China - Current Status and Challenges".products into the international market.

The China Green Food Development Center and COFCC were invited to visit the Danish Agriculture and Food Council.

Han Changfu, the then Minister of Agriculture of China, visited Austria and Germany for a special inspection of the development of organic agriculture in the two countries, and signed a cooperation agreement with the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture to jointly build a "Sino-Austrian Organic Demonstration Tea Farm". COFCC and certified enterprises also participated in the visit as part of the delegation.

COFCC, on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, organized a delegation to participate in the "International Forum on Promoting the Development of Organic Agriculture" in Vietnam, introducing the development and experience of organic agriculture in China.

Representatives from accreditation bodies of 11 countries along the "Belt and Road" Initiative, including Russia, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, and others, visited COFCC.

The China Green Food Development Center, in collaboration with COFCC, visited the headquarters of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) and the Swiss Institute of Organic Agriculture (FIBL).

The China Green Food Development Center and COFCC organized a delegation to Chile and Brazil, where they engaged in exchanges with the administrative authorities, certification bodies, research institutions, and production enterprises responsible for organic agriculture in both countries, and held a promotion meeting on organic agriculture.

COFCC successfully held the first training course for internal auditors from overseas enterprises in Copenhagen, Denmark.
