(COFCC)

Founded in 2002, China Green China Organic Product Certification Center (COFCC) is an agency under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China dedicated in organic certification and promoting the development of organic agriculture.It is also the first organic product certification agency in China approved by the China National Certification and Accreditation Supervision and Administration Commission.

Meanwhile COFCC undertakes the daily work of the Office of the Joint and Integrated Mechanism for Organic Agricultural Products( The Organic Office).

Qualification

COFCC is an agency of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China dedicated in promoting the development of organic agriculture.

The first organic product certification body approved by Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA for short).

Accredited by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment as a certification body in compliance with ISO/IEC 17065:2012 (CNAS-CC02).

Our History

2001

The Ministry of Agriculture has implemented the"Action Plan for Pollution Free Food" for the firsttime, which accelerated the development of greenfood, organic agriculture and organic agriculturalproducts. Organic agriculture and organic agricultural productswere included in the scope of national agriculturalproduct quality and safety supervision.

2002.08

According to the strategic deployment of "green food,organic food, and pollution-free food" in the "ActionPlan for Pollution free Food" of the Ministry ofAgriculture, the preliminary preparation work ofCOFCC has been fully carried out.

2002.10

COFCC has been officially established.COFCC is wholly-owned by China Green FoodDevelopment Center, marking the official launch oforganic agriculture, organic food certification, andmanagement in the agricultural system.

2002.12

COFCC has been approved by CNCA, with certificationbody approval number CNCA-R-2002-100, registered as thefirst organic certification body by CNCA in China.

2003

The organic certification work of theagricultural system has been fullylaunched, and in 2003 the number ofcertified enterprises exceeded 100, witha total of 231 products and 134600 tonsof products.
