What is organic agriculture?
  A kind of plant and animal production system that rejects synthetic chemical substances such as pesticides, fertilizers, growth regulators, fodder additives, etc., and genetically modified organisms and products thereof, and instead, by following the law of nature and the principle of ecology, harmonizes crop cultivation with animal rearing and by adopting a series of sustainable-development-oriented agriculture techniques maintains a stable sustainable agriculture.
The establishment of organic agriculture system needs a transitional period or organic transition.

What is organic food
  Agricultural produce and their products produced, and processed in line with the Standards for Organic Certification from production systems and certified by independent certifying bodies, such as grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, livestock products, aqua-products, bee products and seasons.
Names of organic food vary from language to language. The most popular one is organic food. In other languages, it is also named as biotechnological food, or natural food. FAO and CODEX of WHO make the kind of food as organic food.

What is the relation between organic food, green food and healthy food?
  Organic food, green food and healthy food is a set of conceptions relevant to food safety and eco-environment.
  Organic food is products produced from the kind of production rejecting the application of synthetic chemical, by using a series sustainable agro-technologies to reduce pollution to environment and products from the producing procedure, and also to establish an ecological system in which human and nature are harmoniously coexisting, henceto promote the bio-diversity and the sustainable use of resources.
  Green food is the kind of products through tracking and monitoring the technical standard of the whole production process, including before, middle and post production, with the concepts that views environment and products as a whole. Chemical substances are strictly limited in use during the production to ensure the food and environmental safety, therefore to promote a sustainable development. Certificate for labeling management is adopted to manage the market.
  Healthy food is through a set of measures, such as production location identification, products identification and market accession, within 5 years to realize a nation wide non-public-hazard production of edible agro-products, which is the basic safety line by the government to ensure people's food safety and heath.
  China is a large agriculture country while its economic development is not in good balance. In the new stage of our building a well-off society in all round way, the central tasks of agriculture and rural development is to improve the system of agro-products quality management, increase the safety level of agro-products, and to strengthen the competitiveness of agro-products in international market. To this end, healthy Food Action Program was just launched by Ministry of Agriculture with the approval of State Council, and a development strategy of healthy food, Green food and Organic food three in one , Develop as a whole is set up. Therefore, organic food, green food and non-public-hazard food are all essential parts of quality and safety management of agro-products.
