Certifying process - 中绿华夏有机食品认证中心

1、Applicant puts forward a formal application for certificate, and fill in the application form.
2、COFCC confirms the service charge and draft an initial investigation plan
3、Applicant pays the service charge, sign a certifying contract with COFCC, fill the inspection form and prepare relevant materials
4、An initial evaluation done by COFCC, then a overall inspection is conducted by COFCC
5、On site inspection and evaluation. COFCC sends accredited inspectors to make an onsite inspection of the production location, production, processing, storage, transportation and marketing based on the Organic Food Certification Technical Principles after the confirmation of the payment by applicant. Samples of soil or products are tested if necessary.
6、Inspection report composed. After inspection, an inspection report on production location, processing manufacturer and marketing is composed.
7、Evaluation on the inspection. Based on the forms, relevant materials, and the inspection report, an overall review made by COFCC, and an evaluation with its evaluation suggestions is submited to Certification Committee for discussion.
8、Final decision by the Certification Committee. A review is conducted by the Certification Committee upon the basic information forms, inspection report and evaluation by COFCC, leading to the final decision whether to issue the certificate.
9、Issuance of certificate. Based on the final decision of Certification Committee, certificate is issued to eligible applicant. Receiver of certificate should confirm and seal the inspection report before issued the certificate. Receiver of conditioned certificate should make written commitment of making improvements according to the suggestions from COFCC
10、Application of organic food label. In line with organic food certificate and Regulations on Administration of Organic Food Label, applicants need to go through formalities of using organic food label
